Green fees explained
A green fee is the price a visitor pays for a round. Clubs usually print several rates: weekday and weekend, summer and winter, and reduced rates for county card holders or groups (societies). Some clubs restrict the days visitors can play.

| York Golf Club | £35 weekday winter, Nov-Mar | £110 May-Sep 2026 | Visitors on weekdays and at designated times on Sunday; Saturdays members only |
